The staff was tremendous and made our stay amazing with their little actions and attitude. They were so good to my Dad and I. In bar/restaurant; Tayane and William were kind and personable and amazing at their jobs going out of their way with specific and earnest acts of kindness. Same with Jiya and another girl at reception. I hope I got all their names correct. Thank you!
We checked in late evening on 30th and reception staff were very nice and helpful. Decided to eat at bar and grill and were greeted by Tinu and Kiera as our waitresses. They gave great service and the food was really good quality. Room on second floor was clean and airy and spacious. The leisure facilities were being renovated so did not use but overall very pleasant experience as expected from a hotel with this chain.
Married couple. We stayed for one night on December 4th 2025. The staff (in all areas) were very helpfull and welcoming. Our room (302) was superb, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Breakfast was top notch, both the buffet and freshly made omelette. If we have one slight critisym it was the cold plates and not overly warm buffet items. Otherwise it was a really pleasant stay.
Wonderfully situated near the town centre. The car park is expensive and was overflowing (people parking on the ramp as all spaces were full) but there is a cheaper public car park below the hotel with other options available nearby. Rooms were well lit and comfortable. The cleaning staff still hadn't visited by 3pm which was a bit late but otherwise it was a great stay
Absolutely wonderful stay!!!! I would like especially to thank Tayane and Marco in the restaurant who went above and beyond to make our stay so welcoming. They are an absolute credit to company. Definitely be coming back again.
Stayed one night for my partners birthday, we stayed in a premium suite so had a large bedroom with seperate living room. Ideal location to explore Chester as you are in the centre within 2 minutes walk. Great pool, steam room, sauna and jaquzzi but I wouldn't recommend using them around 6.00ish as it's taken over by locals with kids. We went again in the morning about 8am and had a completely different (relaxing) experience. As an IHG gold member I've stayed in a few hotels and if I'm being honest I think the room decor feels a bit dated to me compared to other 4 star hotels but the facalities, location and in particular, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff (special mention and thanks to Robyn on reception) means it can still command it's rating.
Beautiful place and very comfy beds. We are deeply grateful for their help as we’re travelling with one member post cancer and one with post stroke. The gentlemen on front desk after we arrived at 5 am following long journey they quickly helped us with our luggage and gave us extra towels and pillows and gave us late checkout this the highest service we are have ever received and this team should be lauded for their exemplary. Customer care and kindness, I highly recommend and will return soon.
This is a great hotel. Good location, spacious rooms, professional staff and huge breakfast buffet. While all the staff were great a special mention of Marie. Bright and cheerful each morning. Went way above ensuring you had a perfect breakfast. Highly recommend!
